The Maverick comes standard with a 2.5L hybrid engine. It delivers 191 horsepower and 155 lb-ft of torque — enough power to handle most tasks you throw its way.  For more power, choose the optional 250 horsepower 2.0L EcoBoost engine. Depending on your engine choice, you can expect between 23 and 38 combined miles per gallon. The base XL with hybrid engine comes with standard front-wheel drive, or you can choose to upgrade to all-wheel drive.
